TripleBlind User Guide
My Settings
“My Settings” may be accessed from the menu in the top-right corner of the web interface. Here you can access your password and authentication settings, profile information, and notification preferences.
General
This section allows you to specify your First Name, Last Name, and Username. Your email is also displayed here, but is not editable. Your email address is used for logging into your account and when requesting a password reset link.
Providing a Username is recommended, as this will appear instead of your email address in certain notifications visible to counterparties. For example the username is used in Access Requests requesting a use of an asset, and next to questions and answers in asset Q&A postings.
Remember to click Save once you’re finished.
Notifications
You may enable or disable email notifications in this section.
Password
The next tab provides a section for changing your password. Passwords must abide by minimum complexity requirements:
- Passwords must be between 10 and 64 characters.
- Weak or commonly-used passwords will be rejected.
Remember to click Confirm once you’re finished.
Password Reset
To request a password reset please use the 🔗Forgot Password link on the 🔗Login page.
- You’ll be prompted to enter your email address.
- A password reset link will be sent to the email address associated with your account. This link expires after four hours.
Authentication
SDK Configuration
Your personal authentication token is needed for SDK Installation. Here you can download a pre-populated tripleblind.yaml
file that includes a new authentication token, the endpoint of your environment and the user credentials for SDK examples. You will be prompted to confirm before the .yaml file is downloaded, as it will invalidate your current authentication token and generate a new one.
ℹ️The authentication token expires after 6 months, and a new token must be generated to continue using the SDK without disruption. You will receive email notifications starting 2 weeks before expiration.
Authentication Token
If you already have your tripleblind.yaml
file set up and just need to regenerate the token, you may do so here.
Security Settings
Two-factor authentication (2FA/MFA) may be enabled or disabled here if not required by your organization. When enabled, you will be prompted to connect your account with an authenticator service, such as Authy or Google Authenticator. Logging in to the web interface will then require entry of a changing code generated by that service, typically found in an app on your smartphone.
